Lisa Großkopf’s work oscillates among a diverse range of art disciplines from photography to transmedia art. In her artistic practice and research she combines conceptual, experimental and performative methods with practices of activism. A repeated motif in her work is linked to the tension between private and public space. In her recent works she blurs the boundaries between truth and fiction by using appropriative strategies. Through her exploration of questions related to society’s patterns of perception Lisa challenges our way of viewing everyday objects images or ideas fundamentally.
